VIP Reception, Networking and Friends

Networking is at the heart of Mountain West and this year was full of opportunities to chat with fellow energy industry pros. Night one is always a blast at the VIP reception. After all, solar and storage folks are all about having fun. The fireside chat with PUC Commissioner Megan Gilman and Holy Cross Energy CEO Bryan Hannegan kicked-off what would be a jam-packed few days of conversations and business development.

Keynote, Featured Speakers and the Main Stage

Keynote speaker Chris Seiple of Wood and Mackenzie and featured speaker KC Becker of the EPA set the tone for two full days of learning and growing the solar and storage industry together. Listening to introductions from COSSA leadership, past and present, made it clear how far COSSA and its members have come over the years. From a sliver of the energy pie to competing for the biggest share, renewable energy is taking over and the leaders on stage and in the audience should be proud of their hand in saving the world.

Breakout Sessions

With over 100 presenters and just as many topics covered, conference attendees were privy to everything from groundbreaking ideas to tried and true strategies for increasing solar and storage adoption across all sectors. Topics ranged from energy justice and equity in communities to eliminating the duck curve with massive batteries, covering every unique corner of our diverse industry.
